about a year back, i was at one of my girlfriends sons school functions...started up a conversation with a guy who used to live out in apache junction, far east mesa. at the time, he wasnt quite sure what he was wanting to do with his life and he stumbled upon some bright lights. wondering what they were for, he stopped his car and began with the questions. 30 minutes later, he had landed a job doing set design. he told me his first task was to make this old motorbike they had look like some old bikers harley. little did i know, i was rolling some of the same roads they had 20 years prior while filming the movie raising arizona.
ive spent a little bit of time out in the superstition mountains rolling around in the gravel and dirt. had some killer times out there with friends... i just came across this clip while eating lunch and as mentioned below... i dove into 20,000 photos and found these good guys to go with. memory lane from not even a year ago...january 09. rick eusey and i, superstition mountains east mesa arizona.
