notice the difference in water height on the breaker in the background, difference in trees and the ORIGINAL coping was all still there. top photo grant brittain. bottom photo... not so sure... this is one of those spots, like baldy, love bowls, nude bowl.. spots that i grew up with in the mags and always wanted to go and skate.. luckily, i got to skate this on several occasions. michael tubbs, steve fauser, joe hammeke, colby carter, wez lundry and jimmy the greek showed up once but their car was to slow to make it before sun down... legendary...
if you wanna check it out, heres a scan of some directions my friend zack gave me on the phone as we were on some trip one year. all i had was my sharpie in my pocket and a sweating gallon of water i dumped out the window and dried off to have something to write on. no point in ever going back to the north shore.
and an over saturated photo i shot of the pool with colby throwing down to try to get some dusky grinds. his dog aptly got in the dirt lake immediately after she saw he wasnt paying attention...
